2023 Violet Solomon Oaklander Foundation Online Conference

The Violet Solomon Oaklander Foundation (VSOF) is pleased to announce its next International Conference June 2-4, 2023. There will be three half-days of online presentations for global engagement.

VSOF Conference – Online

Each day of the conference will offer four online sessions

9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. PST

Online presentations will be 50 minutes in length and include theoretical information, practical tips, and first-hand experiences pertaining to the Oaklander Model of psychotherapy for children and adolescents. Participants in all time zones around the world may attend presentations, and/or view recordings after the conference. Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for California, VSOF certification hours, and Association for Play Therapy are available. Each presentation will be presented in English and translated concurrently into a set of languages which will be listed here soon.

Participants will have the opportunity to enhance and expand their knowledge, understanding, and skill regarding the Oaklander Model, as well as contribute to this bi-annual VSOF fund-raiser for the VSOF Scholarship Fund, thus helping people around the world get training in the Oaklander Model.

VSOF Regional Events – In Person

All participants who register for the 2023 VSOF online conference are also welcome and encouraged to attend conference-related in-person gatherings around globe. To date, VSOF events are being planned in: California, Sri Lanka, Argentina, and Italy.

Those interested in hosting additional VSOF events in their region during the June 2-4, 2023 conference can contact Karen Fried at karen@karenfried.com or Lynn Stadler at lynnstadler@verizon.net to discuss options regarding how to host regional events. During the last day of the online conference, pictures of all worldwide gatherings will be shared by a representative from each region during our Just for Now session, so we can connect and learn about our collective and individual experiences throughout this unique hybrid online/live conference.

Cost & Registration

VSOF Conference fees are $200 for professionals and $100 for students and those who need partial scholarships.
