Help us focus public attention on the needs of young children and their families, and to recognize the early childhood programs and services that meet those needs.

Background: Each year, the Alabama Partnership for Children (APC) promotes the Week of the Young Child in Alabama by coordinating Joining Hands for Week of the Young Child, a half-day event during Alabama’s legislative session designed to raise awareness among local and state decision makers on the needs of young children in Alabama. The APC invites individuals, families, and organizations to participate in the annual Joining Hands for Week of the Young Child event.
