Tour the tower of Sigginstown Castle and hear about 500+ years of history and the recent renovations to make it live again!
Visitors enter through the attached 17th century house which has also been renovated to a private residence. The renovation adventures have been filmed on RTE “The Great House Revival” and prior on HGTV “House Hunters International”.
The tower has six levels reached by a steep stone staircase with sturdy handrails on each side. Visitors get a chance to rest and visit at each level. Multiple floors gave been colorfully painted with examples from historical patterns.
Grounds open at 1 pm with guided tours at 1:30 and 3:30 pm. If early for your tour, please wait in the large steel barn. Enter on Norman Way gate next to the glass sign (use Google Maps to look for “Sigginstown Castle”. Please do not use gate by tower. Look for yellow parking signs.
All animals must be kept on leash at all times and are not allowed in buildings. The electric fence is live - please take care.
