2023 Queen City Recruiting Combine

Championship Combines, in partnership with the Queen City Classic, is proud to present the 2023 Queen City Recruiting Combine - To be held on February 3rd at the Charlotte Convention Center and is open to any 8th grade and/or High School age player, regardless if they are participating in the tournament or not.  Please Note - Female Players Only!

The Queen City Recruiting Combine will have one wave from 6:30 to 8:00 p and will be promoted to every NCAA Division II, Division III, NAIA and Junior College Volleybal team in North Carolina, Virginia, South Caronlia, Georgia, Tennessee and Maryland (NCAA Division I is in a Quiet Period, but we will send the Player Information Packet to every DI school in NC/VA/SC/GA/TN/MD).

Attending college coaches will be posted on vbcombines.com approximately one week before the combine.

The Player's name will be on a registered list, and at Combine check in, each player will be given a bib #, so college coaches can easily match player and contact information -  Players should wear normal volleyball practice gear (no need to wear uniforms or shirts with a number on them).  

Volleyball players will be divided by position and identified by graduation year to allow attending college coaches to efficiently evaluate them.  Multiple courts will be used at the Charlotte CC, with each court having a "court coach", to allow players to showcase their skills sets to the college coaches and on the video stream.

The court coaches will put the players through volleyball drills within their specific positions, along with combining positions to illustrate group skill sets.  

Parents are not allowed into the Combine, per the request of the college coaches - This allows the players to focus on skills and the college coaches to focus on evaluations.  There will be a Recruiting Education Session for Parents, while the players are engaged in the Combine!
