This two full-day event will be held at the North Dakota State Capitol and the North Dakota Heritage Center in Bismarck, ND on July 6-7, 2023. The NDIES is open to all ND educators and is designed to provide professional development and education on best practices in Indian education.

Due to renovations in the Capitol building, we will begin each day with check-in (Thursday only), breakfast in the Missouri River Event Center, followed by general sessions and keynote speakers in the Russell Reid Auditorium at the ND Heritage Center. After the full group sessions, we will proceed to the Capitol building for lunch and cultural presentations in Memorial Hall on the 1st floor, followed by breakout sessions in the ground floor meeting rooms. We will have signs and staff available to point participants in the right direction.

Check-in opens at 7:45am on Thursday. Continental breakfast will be available at that time. The welcome and introductions will begin promptly at 8:30am and the Summit will conclude by 5:00pm each day.
