The limited edition Hongbao Collector’s Albums are back in greater quantity this year, due to popular demand! A limited quantity of 450 albums will be available for sales on 14, 15 and 20 January 2023.

Each Collector’s Album will be sold at SGD 88 nett and will contain two full sets of the red packet designs of the 39 participating Museum Roundtable members for the Zodiac Year of the Rabbit displayed in a customised album. In addition, a special edition NHB red packet design will be included in this year’s album in celebration of NHB’s 30th anniversary in 2023.

Date of sales of Collector’s Albums:

• 14 and 15 January 2023 (by registration only. Restricted to persons who have successfully registered for a time slot to purchase an album via Eventbrite at https://mrhongbao.eventbrite.com. Walk-ins will strictly not be entertained.)

• 20 January 2023 (for walk-in only. Restricted to persons who have not purchased a Collector’s Album on 14 or 15 January 2023, Approximately 50 Collector’s Albums will be available for walk-in purchase on a first-come first-served basis, between 10.00am to 5.00pm, while stocks last.)

There will be no further sales of the Collector’s Album outside of the above dates. Please note that the National Heritage Board (NHB) does not sell the Collector’s Album at any of its other museums or offices.

Payment for the Collector’s Album will be made only at Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall. Please note that no payment or deposit will be required before your collection of the Collector’s Album. NHB or Eventbrite will not request for any form of monetary payment through emails, SMS and WhatsApp messages. Be wary of any unauthorised emails, SMS and WhatsApp messages requesting for payments for the Collector’s Albums.

How to Register for a Time Slot to Purchase a Collector’s Album

• Registration opens from 9 January 2023, 10.00am to to 13 January 2023, 12.00pm (Singapore Time) on this webpage.

• Click the button titled, ‘Reserve a Spot’.

• On the registration form, fill in (i) your first and last name as in your NRIC, (ii) the last four digits of your NRIC number, (iii) email address, (iv) mobile number; and (v) preferred collection date and time slot on either 14 or 15 January 2023.

• Submit the registration form. You will receive an automatic Eventbrite confirmation email. Please note that this is not the final confirmation email. The organisers will send a separate confirmation email from MRHongbao2023@gmail.com, to those who are successful in registering for a time slot, on a first-come first-served basis.

Terms and Conditions for Sale of Collector’s Album

Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

1. The Museum Roundtable Lunar New Year Hongbao Campaign 2023, including the sale of the limited edition Museum Roundtable Hongbao Collector’s Album at Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall (the “Event”), is organised by the National Heritage Board (the “Organiser”).

2. By participating in the Event, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, including any amendments thereto (the “T&Cs”).

3. The Organiser reserves the right to amend the T&Cs from time to time, and modify, cancel or suspend the Event at its sole discretion at any time without notice or liability, but will endeavour to provide at least 1 day’s prior notice of any changes to the Event dates where possible. Notice of any such amendments, cancellations or suspensions will be posted on the Event website at (https://go.gov.sg/MRHongbao2023) and the I Love Museums Facebook page (https://facebook.com/ilovemuseums).

4. As the payment for and collection of the Collector’s Album will be a physical event, the Event is available only to persons in Singapore.

How to Purchase a Collector’s Album

5. The Event will be held on the following dates, as follows:-

(a) 14 to 15 January 2023: by registration only

(i) Restricted to persons who have successfully registered for that time slot, and walk-ins will strictly not be entertained.

(ii) Registration will be via Eventbrite at https://mrhongbao.eventbrite.com and opens from 9 January 2023, 10.00am to 13 January 2023, 12.00pm (Singapore Time).

(iii) Registration for the time slots will be on a first-come first-served basis, and you may not be allocated your preferred time slot if that slot is full.

(iv) Only one registration is permitted per person. If you submit multiple entries, only the first will be considered.

(v) If your registration is successful, you will receive a confirmation email from the Organiser/Eventbrite with the details of your allocated time slot and further instructions.

(vi) Payment for the Collector’s Album will be made only at the Event venue. Please note that no payment or deposit will be required before your collection of the Collector’s Album. The Organiser or Eventbrite will not request for any form of monetary payment through emails, SMS and WhatsApp and other messaging platforms. Be wary of any unauthorised emails, SMS and Whatsapp messages requesting for payments for the Collector’s Albums.

(vii) Please visit the venue during your allocated time slot and show the confirmation email and your identification number (e.g. NRIC) to the Organiser’s staff at the Event counter (next to the Visitor Services counter) for verification, and thereafter to the Visitor Services counter to proceed with the purchase of the Collector’s Album. Should you arrive outside of your allocated date and time slot, the Organiser may deny you entry.

(viii) If you have successfully registered but are unable to attend and/or wish to authorise someone to make the purchase on your behalf, please notify the Organiser at least 2 days in advance via email to MRHongbao2023@gmail.com, and provide us with the name and identification number of your authorised person, and inform your authorised person to bring the relevant identification.

(ix) Please note that the registration is for a time slot only and does not guarantee your purchase of the Collector’s Album, which is subject to your fulfilment of the other criteria in these T&Cs.

(b) 20 January 2023: walk-in only

(i) Approximately 50 Collector’s Albums will be available for walk-in purchase on a first-come first-served basis, between 10.00am to 5.00pm, while stocks last.

(ii) Restricted to persons who have not purchased a Collector’s Album on 14 or 15 January 2023.

There will be no further sales of the Collector’s Album outside of the above dates.

6. Each person is limited to the purchase of one Collector’s Album during the Event.

7. Buyers are to inspect the condition of their Collector’s Album for any defects before leaving Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall. Exchanges (subject to availability) or refunds (if there is no more stock) may be offered at the Organiser’s sole discretion, generally for defects such as the Collector’s Album having an incomplete number of red packets. Exchanges or refunds will not be allowed for minor defects. Please note that no exchanges or refunds will be allowed after the buyer has left the premises of Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall.

Event Venue

8. The Event venue is the Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall at 12 Tai Gin Road Singapore 327874. Please note that the Organiser does not sell the Collector’s Album at any of its other museums or offices.

9. Visitors to the Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall are to adhere to all prevailing safe management measures and guidelines at the venue, and persons suspected of any breach may be refused entry. Please refer to https://sysnmh.org.sg or contact the venue for details about their address, opening hours, and safe management measures.

10. The Organiser shall not be responsible for any minors left unattended at the Event. All children below 13 years of age attending the event must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

11. During the Event, photographs or videos of the Event may be taken by the Organiser, which may feature the persons at the Event. You consent to such photographs or videos being taken and permit the Organiser to use the same, for any purposes whatsoever (including marketing, promotions, and the creation of promotional materials, etc) in any medium whatsoever, without any further obligation or compensation payable to you.

Liability and Indemnity

12. To the fullest extent permissible under law, the Organiser shall not be liable for any loss, damage, liability, injury or costs and expenses relating to any person’s participation in the Event, including but not limited to (a) any modification, suspension or cancellation of the Event or failure or omission on the Organiser’s part to carry out the Event whether due to force majeure events or otherwise, (b) the Organiser’s denial of any person’s participation in the Event or any purchase of the Collector’s Album or (c) otherwise relating to any person’s purchase and use of the Collector’s Album.

13. You agree to indemnify the Organiser and hold the Organiser harmless from and against all liabilities, losses, damages, proceedings, suits, actions, claims and demands, costs (including legal costs on a full indemnity basis) and expenses whatsoever suffered or incurred by the Organiser relating to or arising from or in connection with your participation in the Event, subsequent use of the Collector’s Album (if applicable) and/or any breach of the T&Cs by you.

Personal Information

14. You agree that the Organiser may collect, use and disclose your personal data (including but not limited to your name and identification number) as provided to the Organiser for (a) the purposes of administering the Event and in relation to your participation in the same, (b) for the Organiser’s conduct of research, analysis and development activities (including data analytics, surveys and/or profiling) to enhance the Organiser’s programme offerings and operations, and (d) for the Organiser’s reference and archival purposes. If necessary, the Organiser may share this data with other Government agencies (or non-Government entities which have been authorised to carry out specific services by the Organiser) in order to serve you in the most efficient and effective way, unless such sharing is prohibited by legislation. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

15. The T&Cs shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore for every purpose and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
