About this event

We are excited to announce that MiCareerQuest Middle Michigan 2023 is returning again. It is sure to be another amazing and engaging hands-on career exploration experience for 10th grade students, teachers, and counselors to learn about today’s high-demand jobs from working professionals!

School Registration is open: April 17, 2023 - April 28, 2023

  • Registration to participate is on a first-come, first-served basis for area public and private schools (grade 10 only) in the region.
  • Please complete registration by Friday, April 28th at 5pm. We have a limited number of participant slots available.
  • If you are home schooled, register through your local high school.
  • There is no cap on the number of 10th graders a school can bring to the event, but we will make sure each county has equal access.
  • Schools will be assigned a 90-minute block of time between 7:30am and 2:30pm to attend the event. Organizers will contact each registered school with designated arrival and departure times.
  • Schools that will be traveling the farthest to MiCareerQuest Middle Michigan will be given priority for the second session. Those schools close to SVSU Ryder Center will be given the first and third time slots.
  • We suggest 1 chaperone for every 20 students.
  • A limited amount of funding is available to subsidize school districts that may need assistance with bus transportation. (Please contact Lori Friend at lfriend@michworks4u.org or Kim Onstott onstottk@michiganworks.com)
  • Upon completion of the registration form, a follow-up communication will be sent to you.
  • If you have not used EventBrite in the past, you will have to register first before signing up your high school.
