Maryland Civil Rights Educational Freedom Experience, March 24-April 1, 2023

Participants will embark on an inspiration-filled educational experience travelling south to immerse yourself in a lifechanging journey as you retrace the Freedom Trail and explore the Civil Rights Movement. Learn about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Rosa Parks, the Montgomery Bus Boycott, the Greensboro Sit Ins, Voting Rights, Emmitt Till and other significant events of the American Civil Rights Movement. Visit numerous sites including the Lorraine Motel, the Legacy Museum, Central High School, the Jackson home of Medgar Evers and Dexter Avenue Baptist. Experience these sites Church and Parsonage and many more!

Traveling on a state-of-the-art bus equipped with WiFi. The Maryland Civil Rights Educational Experience was modeled from the idea of the Civil Rights Heritage Tour initiated from the work of the Raleigh North Carolina Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Committee and Bruce Lightner the committee Founder.
