Each year, the Fred Kiesner Center for Entrepreneurship recognizes several outstanding LMU alumni and current students who have made significant contributions to the field of entrepreneurship.

Join us for a special evening of celebrating the past, present, and future of LMU Entrepreneurship with your peers, faculty, staff, alumni, friends, families, and more!

This year, we will be celebrating two phenomenal entrepreneurs Jessica Hawthorne of Hawthorne Advertising and Rohit Shukla of Larta Institute at the Wall of Honor and Student Awards.

Jessica is a phenomenal marketer who works with Fortune 500 brands, has published hundreds of articles with leading publications, and is the recipient of the Ernst & Young “Entrepreneur Of The Year” award. She is a proud Magna Cum Laude MBA graduate from LMU as well as an alumna of UCLA.

Rohit Shukla is the founder and CEO of Larta Institute, an internationally recognized accelerator, having helped over 4,000 startups and commercialized over 6,000 technologies. Larta continues to feed, fuel, and heal the world with programs designed to help create triple-bottom-line ventures, aligned with the United Nations Development Goals. Rohit earned his MA in Communication Arts & Sciences from LMU and a BA from the University of Mumbai and an MA from Cambridge University.

About the organizer

The Fred Kiesner Center for Entrepreneurship serves as a vital resource for various academic programs at LMU including the undergraduate Entrepreneurship major and graduate M.S. in Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Innovation. Each year, the center offers numerous experiential and co-curricular activities designed to engage and enhance students' entrepreneurial competence.
