This summer is about to be lit! We’re taking Afrobeats & popular African culture back to the streets of LA. Get ready for a total Afrobeats takeover at the 2023 LA Afrobeats Block party and Jollof cook-off at the beautiful 20K sq. ft Beehive block 10 mins south of downtown LA.
Anticipated to be one of the biggest events in the summer, the block party will be a spectacle and an experience you cannot afford to miss this year! Check out the video for a taste of how the event went down last year !! The LA Afrobeats Block party will be hosted by the talented actor and comedian Seyi Brown.
Get ready for a festive vibe and a culturally-rich experience on the streets of LA that combines a jollof cook-off with a live block party, pop-up shops, food vendors, and visual art from various African cultures. This immersive fun-filled cultural event puts the vibrancy and diversity of African cultures on full display for all to enjoy.
