Thank you for your interest in the Idaho Governor's Cup!

Details on how to register your guests will be sent around the beginning of June.

*Each sponsored and non-sponsored guest can participate in one Governor's Cup event: Golf, Shotgun Sports, Fly Fishing or Social.  There is not an opportunity to participate in multiple events.

The Idaho Governor's Cup is a 501c3 which exists to raise funds for scholarships for deserving Idaho students to pursue their higher education goals here in their home state.  

Funds are raised through our annual event which includes a golf tournament, shotgun sports, fly fishing, many social events, evening entertainment and great networking opportunities.

What is the attire for the event?

All event are "Resort Casual."  Men typically wear khakis or shorts and polo shirts.  Women wear sun dresses, pants or capris and tops.  Friday night is a western BBQ and may people choose to dress in western attire.  September in Sun Valley can be chilly in the early mornings and evening, please bring a jacket!

 What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

Sun Valley is served by Hailey’s Friedman Memorial Airport (SUN).  It’s located 14 miles from the resort and is easily accessible from the gateway cities of San Francisco (SFO), Seattle (SEA), Los Angeles (LAX), Salt Lake City (SLC), and Denver (DEN).  These cities are served by most major airlines and are met by Sun Valley’s connecting carriers: Alaska Airlines, Delta Connection (operated by SkyWest) and United Express (operated by SkyWest.).

Alternatively, Sun Valley is 115 miles from Boise or approximately a 1 hour 45 minute drive via I-84 East and US-20 East.
