2023 HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE EVENT - BRADFORD, SULLIVAN & TIOGA COUNTIES

Northern Tier Solid Waste Authority, in conjunction with PA Dept. of Environmental Protection and PA Dept. of Agriculture, is sponsoring a collection event for household hazardous waste.

• This event is limited to Bradford, Sullivan & Tioga County, PA residents only. Businesses are not eligible and they must contact a Universal Waste Hauler for their disposal needs.
• NO ELECTRONICS, APPLIANCES, OR TIRES will be accepted during this event
• NO LATEX PAINT- it is non-hazardous. Dry it out or put something in it to absorb the liquid (cat litter, saw dust, shredded paper, paint hardener, etc...) and dispose of it with your regular household trash.
• Used motor oil and antifreeze must be in securely lidded containers no larger than 5 gallons.

• You will not get your containers back
• Used motor oil and antifreeze are accepted during our normal business hours. You do not need to utilize this event if that is all you have!

• Materials must be accessible in the trunk of your car or the bed of your truck/SUV
• You must stay in your vehicle during the collection.

• If you can not attend the event, please cancel your appointment, as others may be waiting for an opening.

• This event will follow state, local and PA Dept. of Health guidelines. COVID-19 safety measures will be in place.
