Sign up today for the 2023 Hilton Head Jazz Camp by filling out this online registration form ($50 registration fee).  Upon initially registering, we will hold your spot and e-mail out your invoice and information packet on a rolling basis beginning in April.  Camp tuition is due back in full by June 15, 2023.  Full week supervised overnight accommodations are available for out-of-town students age 14+ for an additional fee of $450 in nearby campus housing at USCB.  Read the camp description below or visit our website at hhjazzcamp.com for the full details.

Hilton Head Jazz Camp (recommended ages 14-20):  A week-long full day camp with 18 full-time professional faculty & guest artists taking place July 10-15 with two major culminating performances including the camp recital and finale concert.  With a combination of large big bands, small combos, theory, improv, elective courses, masterclasses and performances, this premier jazz camp is geared towards intermediate to advanced middle and high school students.  With a unique vocal jazz and jazz strings option available to students in addition to a traditional jazz summer camp program, the HHJC has truly become an annual destination for aspiring musicians in the region and beyond.  Tuition also includes a daily chef-catered lunch & all daytime activities, faculty recital, special mid-week lunch masterclass, and 2 complimentary tickets to the finale performance on July 15th at 2pm.  $449 tuition, flexible payment plan and scholarships available.

For out-of-town students, overnight accomodations are available including six nights overnight lodging at new campus housing located on the campus of the USCB Bluffton campus, located 15 minutes from the camp location. Apartment suites include four separate bedrooms, two bathrooms, full kitchen and laundry. The lodging and camp package includes a well-stocked kitchen for breakfast, lunch at camp, full camp tuition & all daytime events. Check-in is Sunday, July 9th (night prior to the camp) and check-out is the morning of Saturday, July 15th. Students will need to bring separate spending money for dinner and optional evening activities. Parents can pick up their students following the finale performance. Only Age 14-20 and space is limited. $899 full camp and lodging package, flexible payment plan and scholarships are available.

With the sponsorship of the Junior Jazz Foundation, financial and merit-based scholarships are available along with automatic discounts for jazz camp alumni, siblings and honor band students.  Scholarship applicants can apply online @ http://bit.ly/hhjazzcamp-scholarship immediately following their registration.   Any scholarship awards will be applied to the camp tuition (not any lodging fees).

Video auditions are required in advance to determine the appropriate combo and big band for our students, but not for admission into the camp. It is strongly recommended that students have 3+ years of instrumental experience before attending the Hilton Head Jazz Camp.  For local students, you may also check out our other summer jazz programs both held June 19-23 daily from 1-4pm - the Hilton Head Jazz Clinic (recommended for beginning instrumentalists ages 10-14) and Hilton Head Jazz Guitar Institute (recommended for guitarists ages 14-18).

Health and Safety Policy: As a camp hosted on the campus of HHCA, we will be following their policies when it comes to the health and safety of our campers. The latest healthy and safety protocols will be sent out with our camp information. Visit hhjazzcamp.com for more information.
