Enroll in one or more one-week Grand Youth summer theatre camps, where you will work with professional theatre artists and train alongside other Utah students to hone your theatre abilities, learn the business of theatre, and connect with working theatre professionals.
Early registration discount fee of $110 per camp through Friday, May 19, after which registration fee is $125 per camp. Get a 10% discount when signing up for multiple camp tracks by entering promo code "Multicamp" during checkout and registering for at least two tracks.
Students (ages 12-19) of all skill levels and backgrounds can participate, no prior training required. Classes will vary from day to day in specific topics, and are designed to accommodate and welcome students of varying abilities.
There are four camp tracks, each with four days of theatre training and exploration (participants can enroll in one or more than one):
Technical Theatre Lighting and Sound (June 26–29; 10 am – 12 pm)
Theatre Lighting and sound design and operation with Theatre Professionals
Improvisation (June 26-29; 1 – 3 pm)
Build your improv and theatre skills
Technical Theatre Set Design (July 10-13; 10 am – 12 pm)
Theatre Set Design with Theatre Professionals
Creating a Play (July 10-13; 1 – 3 pm)
Learn and explore all aspects of the play creation process from writing to acting and directing
PARKING: If you're driving to the camp, you must purchase a parking pass for each week of camp you're attending (one pass for June 26-29 and/or one pass for July 10-13). Participants can be dropped off for the summer camps without purchasing a parking pass
An additional participation waiver requiring parental/guardian approval will be distributed to workshop participants before the camp begins.
