Colorful Colonial

Driving through the heavily canopied streets of a beautiful Indianapolis neighborhood, one cannot help but admire this Colonial-style home sitting on a large, corner, one-acre lot. The exceptionally manicured front yard leads around to an entertainer’s dream —so lushly landscaped—perfect for summer leisure. The elegant gardens give the feeling of being out in the peaceful country, not minutes from the city center.

Wondrous Woodlands

There are three spectacular gardens to explore on the property. Shuttle service is provided. One feels as if they have left Indianapolis behind and entered Brown County. The prairie portion of this 20-acre gem is registered as one of Doug Tallamey’s homegrown national parks. The enchanting children’s garden delights visitors of all ages. The genuine love of family, gardening, and discovery permeate the property.

Modern Mediterranean

Welcome to an exquisite modern Mediterranean home built in 1930 and cared for by the current owners since 2010. Entering the garden, one will find sitting areas furnished with antique ornamental iron tables and chairs collected from the 1930s, as well as a walkway constructed of bricks removed from the track at The Indianapolis Motor Speedway in the 1960s. The expansive garden seamlessly integrates various ‘rooms’, planting pockets, and a knot garden.

Wildwood Whimsey

This welcoming and whimsical garden has been home to one family for over 30 years. A collection of colorful plantings and ever evolving spaces are a meaningful nod to the happy memories created with family, friends, and neighbors alike. A playful, friendly spirit pervades the property inviting guests to linger and enjoy.

Historical Gem

An excellent example of Prairie-style architecture, this house features black walnut woodwork cut from trees felled at the building site. Once surrounded by a wooded landscape, the home and garden is now designed for entertaining and activity. The gated entry leads to the back yard which is enveloped in mature trees, lovely plantings, and welcoming living spaces.
