Join the Colorado Wireless Association in downtown Denver June 15 for the wireless industry’s first pickleball tournament. The COWA Pickleball Extravaganza will be hosted at the Gates Tennis & Pickleball Center in beautiful Cherry Creek, CO. This event is open to all wireless industry professionals!
For first-time beginners and seasoned pickleballers alike, join industry peers and other professionals for a fun day of playing pickleball and networking. The event will kick-off with a taco bar lunch and a pickleball clinic to go over basic tips, standard rules and the day’s format. Following lunch, we will kick off the inaugural tournament, which will be a team-challenge format where teams are comprised of 4 players competing in a round-robin format. Top teams in the round-robin will move on to compete in the Championship Bracket.
Register as an individual or as a team! Individual player registrants can request to be partnered with a specific teammate or a specific team. Interested in playing AND sponsoring? Check out our sponsorship levels as some include player spots! Bring your own equipment or use a loaner paddle provided by the facility. Not interested in playing but want to come hang out and have lunch and network? We got that covered too!

Event Format:
- Teams (4 players) are organized in Pools for Round Robin Play
- Each Pool is comprised of 4 teams and each teams will play a Match against all other teams in their designated Pool (each Team will play 3 matches within their Pool)
- A Match includes 2 games to 11 where all 4 players participate across both games:
o First Game: 2 players (partners) on each team play 2 players on the other team (i.e. Team A - Player 1, Player 2 vs. Team B – Player 1, Player 2)
o Second Game: The other 2 players on the team play the other 2 players on the other team. (i.e. Team A - Player 3, Player 4 vs. Team B – Player 3, Player 4)
o Teams can alternate or modify their partnerships between matches!
- Games will be timed at 15 minutes. Otherwise games are to 11, when by 2. (If 15 minutes expire prior to team winning, whichever team is in the lead when time expires will get the win!)
- The winning team in each Pool will move on to the ‘Championship Bracket’.
