One week. Same city. Two great conferences back-to-back.

This year’s Collaborative Journalism Summit will be hosted in person in Washington, D.C. in partnership with the School of Media & Public Affairs at George Washington University on June 6-7.

The Summit will also take place alongside INN Days 2023 from the Institute for Nonprofit News. which is set for June 8-9 at George Washington.

You’ll be treated to two days of lightning talks, workshops, and participatory discussions about a wide array of #collaborativej topics and projects. BONUS: When you register for #CJS2023, you'll receive a $50 discount on registration for INN Days 2023!

Note that we’re NOT kidding when we say this is a “jam-packed” conference — the Summit is designed to be a fast-paced event that’s full to the brim.

When you register, you'll find multiple ticketing options. Please choose the option that best fits you and your organization's financial situation. We also have no-cost scholarship tickets available to ensure ticket price is not a barrier for participation. If you need one, just let us know by emailing summit@collaborativejournalism.org.

Travel recommendations can be found here.

As usual, the Summit comes with Code of Conduct and Care policies and our Commitments pledge. Our commitments are driven by our focus on improving the inclusivity of the Summit and diversity of its speakers and participants.

⭐ We require all Summit attendees to review our commitments and policies before you register.

IMPORTANT COVID-19 INFORMATION:

We strongly encourage wearing a mask while indoors, and ask all individuals to follow current CDC guidance .

Our goal is to host an event that prioritizes the health and safety of everyone involved. In the event that the CDC, Montclair State University, the host location/university, the states of New Jersey or Washington, D.C., or other relevant governing bodies issue updated COVID-related guidance or restrictions that prevent us from hosting the Summit in person, the Summit will be hosted in-place via Zoom instead.

If that happens, all CJS attendees, speakers, and sponsors will be notified as soon as possible and provided with additional information about changes to ticket prices, event access, and other issues.
