We have been inspired for centuries by women who stepped up and led the way in Alexandria. This year, Alexandria Celebrates Women is thrilled to recognize our up-and-coming leaders -- extraordinary young women who are making a difference in our City today.
This outdoor event will take place along the waterfront at the Canal Center Plaza in Old Town North on Wednesday, June 28. A reception with the award winners will take place from 5pm to 7pm; the program begins at 7pm.
Note: If you cannot attend this event, please considering making a donation to the Alexandria Domestic Violence Safehouse at checkout. The safehouse provides emergency housing and food at a confidential location for Alexandria women and their children who have been abused or who are threatened with abuse.
