2023 ASID + IIDA Philadelphia Student Career Day STUDENTS

STUDENT REGISTRATION - GRADUATE and UNGRAD STUDENTS WELCOME!

All regional design students are invited to attend the 2023 Student Career Day hosted by ASID PA East and IIDA PA/NJ/DE.

Students will meet with a variety of professionals (designers, manufacturers, developers, and more) to gain exposure and learn more about entering into the industry as a well prepared professional.

Career Day is a FREE event that will give a well rounded and comprehensive professional prep experience to design students looking to gear up for internships and entry level positions.

Dress is business casual and we encourage students of all levels to participate. There are a limited number of spaces available, so be sure to register now!

Please bring portfolios and resumes, finished or unfinished. It's always a work in progress.

Student Career Day Schedule - see agenda below

Portfolio/Resume Reviews Student are reminded to bring portfolios either in print or digital format. If digital format, students must bring tablet/laptop loaded with portfolio or "work in progress" and to remember power cords as needed. We will not be providing computers/tablets for students to load presentation on.

Every 20 minutes we will encourage a switch of student/professional match ups. Once students are done meeting with professional for review, students will come to “home base” area and then will be matched up with another professional. We have allotted for three “switches” of student/professional match up. We also encourage you to visit the ASID and IIDA Pods to learn more about the organizations.

*If at any point either student and/or professionals need to leave prior to end of program just let person you are prepared with that you have a hard stop.
