This virtual meeting is open to the public. The federal Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Ombudsman's office, the Office of Government Information Services (OGIS), will host its annual public meeting in accordance with the FOIA statute. You will hear about OGIS’s activities, reviews, and reports. Interested persons may present oral and written statements during the meeting. If you wish to make oral statements, you must register to attend via Webex.

PUBLIC COMMENTS: The public is invited to present oral or written statements at the meeting in accordance with 5 U.S.C.§(h)(6). You must participate in the meeting via Webex to offer oral comments during the public comment period of the meeting
Public comments will be limited to three minutes per individual. You may submit written comments in advance via the OGIS comments portal: https://www.archives.gov/ogis/public-comments. For information on submitting public comments, visit: https://www.archives.gov/ogis/about/public-comments-policy. Please note that we will not answer questions about specific OGIS cases.

1. Watch the livestream on the National Archives’ YouTube Channel at https://www.youtube.com/usnationalarchives

2. Attend the meeting virtually through Webex.
REGISTRATION INFORMATION FOR THOSE WHO WISH TO ATTEND VIA WEBEX: There is a two-step registration process to virtually attend this meeting.
Step 1: You must register by 11:59 PM (ET) on Sunday, June 11, 2023.
Step 2: Registrants will receive a message from OGIS that provides access information.
QUESTIONS ABOUT REGISTRATION: If you have difficulty registering for this event via Eventbrite, we suggest that you:
- Clear your cache and cookies.
- Try a different web browser.
- Contact your IT department to see whether there is anything the department can do on their end to assist you. Some agencies may have network security restrictions in place which may impact your ability to register.
- Email ogisopenmeeting@nara.gov requesting that we register you for the event if you are unable to or prefer not to register online.
