Join us for the 2023 5-Star Students User Conference! September 11-12, 2023

The goal of this seminar is to inform both current and future 5-Star users about the multiple tools the program offers and how to use them efficiently. This will be a collaborative space where attendees will hear from current users of the program and have the chance to set their site up for success.

The schedule will be announced soon. See the Sessions section below to view some of the topics that will be covered.

Who is this for?

All 5-Star users are invited! Whether you're brand new to 5-Star or have been using it for a few years, there will be something for everyone. It is a great time to connect with other sites and bounce ideas off one another.

Any new site personnel that will be managing 5-Star are encouraged to attend.

There will be an opportunity for one-on-one meetings with a 5-Star rep to address any questions or concerns specific to your site.

5-Star 101: This course is designed for any new users to 5-Star. This session will cover the first half of an introductory training course.

5-Star 201: This course is the second half of 5-Star 101. This session will cover the second half of an introductory training course.

Expert Panel: Hear from some of 5-Star Students’ biggest fans and how they’re using the program at their school.

Hall Passes: Learn how to use one of 5-Star's newest features! This course will walk through creating different hall pass types and assigning them to students via the website and Manager App.

Houses: Learn how to successfully build and manage a house/team system at your school. Use 5-Star to create team competitions and generate even more spirit around your campus.

Interventions: This course will go over the interventions piece in 5-Star. We’ll talk about how to setup and manage interventions, as well as viewing results and using the data to increase student engagement.

Item Sales: Ready to sell items like PE clothes, yearbooks, and school gear using 5-Star? Learn how to use the new item sales tool.

Online Store: This session will cover how students and staff can purchase tickets or items using the online store feature.

PBIS: One of the many tools is 5-Star is recognizing and rewarding positive behavior. This session will cover the Behavior tool and how to implement your PBIS program across campus.

Rewards and Redemptions: This session will go over the unique ways to incentivize and reward students, staff, and community members in 5-Star. Learn how to use the program's redemption feature and publicize your reward system.

Running a Dance: Practice makes perfect! Learn how to set up an event, sell tickets, and check students in to a dance using 5-Star.

Student App: This session will explore the different functions of the student app, including: self check-in, virtual ID cards, and hall passes.

Surveys and Voting: Learn how to create and run surveys and voting polls with 5-Star. Setup your Senior Yearbook Quotes survey or run an election!
