2022 WV Youth Evangelism Conference (YEC)

Our Milky Way galaxy contains 200 billion stars, and it’s only one of 150 billion galaxies! There are more stars than grains of sand on the seashore. God gave us the sky to proclaim his almighty power and invites us to look to his Word to find him. We can not only know God exists, but know God and walk with him. When we see God for who he is, in all of his glory and grace, our lives will be changed forever.

SPEAKER: Jared Bumpers - Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary Director of Student Life + Events, Assistant Professor of Preaching and Ministry

ILLUSIONIST: Bryan Drake - A unique mix of comedy, mentalism, and illusions to share the Gospel with this generation

Group check in opens at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, March 4 and YEC will kick off at 6:45 p.m. 

ABOUT

For 20 years, YEC has grown into one of the largest student events in West Virginia. 

Sponsored by the West Virginia Convention of Southern Baptists, the Youth Evangelism Conference (YEC) is open to youth groups (6-12 graders) from churches of multiple denominations across our state.

God is using YEC to strengthen and send students to be on mission both locally and globally. We have seen many lives transformed for eternity, and many students commit to vocational ministry.
