2022 West Michigan Dutch-American Heritage Day Dinner
We're excited to announce this year's keynote speaker is Niels Mulder, CEO of Unex, Inc. Unex is one of the leading Dutch exporters in Dutch grown, high quality flower bulbs and perennial plants. Niels bought into the family business in 2002 and has expanded the business to selling flower bulbs all over the world, with his main market in the United states. Unex has locations in The Netherlands, Michigan, Wisconsin, and New Jersey.
We are pleased to honor Harry Nelis Jr. with the lifetime achievement award. Harry Jr. is the third generation of the Nelis family to operate the family business that was started by his grandfather, Frederick, in 1922. He directed all business operations until his retirement in 1999. In 2022, the Nelis family celebrated 100 years in business!
We would like to extend a special thanks to Witte Travel for once again sponsoring our grand prize drawing, tickets for two (including airfare) on the Netherlands waterway cruise April 14- 23, 2023.
The evening begins with a reception at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 each.
