The Cathedral Foundation will kick off the 6th Annual Opening Ceremony for TriState Black Pride in Memphis, TN at The National Civil Rights Museum.
Performing Live will be Memphis R&B Sensation Gerald Richardson! The Keynote Speaker for the evening will be Dr. Shanell McGoy, Ph.D, MPH, Director, Public Affairs, Corporate Citizenship at Gilead Sciences, INC.
A Special presentation will be included with The Legacy Award given in honor of The Late Michael B. Moore and The Living Legend Award to Renell "Sleek" Smith!
The Opening Ceremony will be dedicated to celebrating culture and diversity of the Black LGBT community, particularly in the Mid-South. The theme for the evening is "People, Purpose & Power
The cost of admission includes a Tour of the Museum, Open Bar, Live Music, light hors d'oeuvres by Paradox Catering.
TriState Pride is a four-day event that focuses on the Black LGBTQ human & civil rights issues, medical disparities, economic reform, educational opportunities, and political issues.
