Overview Description

In this presentation, we will look into the next type of Project Manager. The existing environment is Agile-centric with many dots of methodology, practices, planning approaches, and ways to measure progress. Let’s call that the end of the Agile Dynasty. The new environment will be even more engaged in value-driven design, will almost exclusively implement hybrid methodologies, will be principles-driven, and will require a much more diverse skill set driven by emotional and cultural intelligence. Let us morph into the next generation of project manager and look at all of the changes as we connect the “dots” of this new “Infinite Flow” Dynasty.

Specific topics throughout the day:

1. Infinite flow

2. PMBOK 7 and the influence of principles and performing domains

3. The increased emphasis on analysis, including data analytics and "Telling the Project Story with Data"

4. Coaching (using the Adkins model) – discuss how PMs will be coaching people, teams, and processes throughout the enterprise
