About this event

Don't miss this wonderful opportunity to join early childhood educators in a great day of learning.

The Keynote Address will be delivered by Dr. Brenda Williamson. Dr. Williamson currently works at the North Carolina Division of Child Development and Early Education but is perhaps best known as a "hard but fair" adult educator in her roles as an instructor and assistant/associate professor at Durham Tech, NC Central University, Mount Olive University, Shaw University, and Anderson University. She has served on the NCAEYC Board of Directors as the Advocacy chair and is one of three founders of the NCAEYC Equity in Early Childhood Circle.

Her love and dedication to the educators, young children, and families of North Carolina is steeped in her spiritual beliefs and her personal motto "knowledge is powerful towards being an agent of social justice change through ACTIONS, living in your purposeful life, using skills and talents bestowed upon you"
