About this event

The Martin Richard Institute for Social Justice (MRISJ) at Bridgewater State University invites you to join us for our 2022 MLK Series honoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

This series of events will inspire service and provide education on issues of social justice to honor and build on the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The series will include service projects, film viewings and discussions, children’s story times, and guest speakers.

Folks are encouraged to register for as many or as few events as they would like. Please note that due to COVID-19 restrictions, events marked BSU Only are only open to current BSU Students, Staff, Faculty, and Administration.

Monday, January 17th

6:30-7:30 pm- Virtual Story Time: Using Your Voice (Presented by Jumpstart & Raising Multicultural Kids)

Saturday, January 22nd (BSU ONLY)

10:00 am-12:00 pm- Virtual Film Screening & Discussion of All In: The Fight for Democracy*

11:00 am-2:00 pm- On-Campus Service Project for MLK Day of Service* (THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL 3/26)
