The theme for the 2022 Christmas Parade is Christmas Joy!
- Lineup begins at 5:30 p.m.
- Judging is to begin at 6:00 p.m. in the UTM Football Parking Lot
- Parade will begin at 7:00 p.m.
- Parade will proceed east on University Street, turn left on Lindell Street and continue through downtown Martin.
- Entry fee: $5.00 Deadline for entries: Thursday, December 1st
Three floats in each of commercial and non-commercial divisions will be awarded prizes judged on the following categories:
- Demonstration of Parade Theme
- Originality
- Workmanship
- Overall appearance
- Creativity and use of color
- Best demonstration of Christmas spirit
- Most beautiful
- Participation and enthusiasm of entry workers/riders/walkers
- Overall attractiveness
In addition, one vehicle (not a float) will receive a prize as best decorated vehicle!
For safety purposes for the spectators and participants, DO NOT throw candy or other articles from your entry. Violating entries will be disqualified from judging and asked to leave the parade immediately. We ask that members of your organization walk along side your entry and distribute treats to the parade spectators.
