About this event

Two Days of Cultural Fun for Everyone! 

Come and experience all the fun with Highland Dancing, Bagpipe Bands, Highland Athletics, a Giant Kid's Zone, Scottish Merchants, Haggis, Celtic Rock and Traditional Performers, Historic Reenactments, Scottish Country Dancing, Sunday Church Service, Hearth Cooking, NC Beer and Wine, Whisky Tastings, Kilted Running Events, Scottish Clan Societies, Shoot Long Bows and Blowguns, Throw a Battle Axe and so much more!

Pursuant to Mecklenburg County Ordinance, Rural Hill is now a tobacco-free zone. This includes both smoking, smokeless tobacco, e-cigarettes, vaporizers and other such devices. This includes the campground. This is a Mecklenburg County Law that Rural Hill must follow.

The Clansman Patron Package includes 1 preferred parking pass with a program, 2 badges for admission to the Friday Evening Reception, Call of the Clans,and hospitality tent as well as 2 wrist bands for admission on Saturday and Sunday of the Games. This is NOT a Clan Tent on Clan Row.  Those can be purchased HERE.

The Highlander Patron Package includes 2 preferred parking passes with a program, 4 badges for admission to the Friday Evening Reception, Call of the Clans, and hospitality tent as well as 4 wrist bands for admission on Saturday and Sunday of the Games.

Organizer of 2022 Loch Norman Highland Games

Historic Rural Hill is a private non-profit organization located in Huntersville, NC.  We operate a 265 acre working farm that is owned by Mecklenburg County Parks and Rec.  Rural Hill is a working farm, historic site, educational facility, nature preserve, and event site.  We host events year round and many are fundraisers for the site that help us put on free community oriented events and educational programs for local schools.  We also operate as the historic homestead of the Davidson family.  We offer tours and living history to educate the community on the local history and we are open year round.  We would love to have you visit us for one our events or to learn more about the sites history.  We offer a wide variety of events, educational programs, living history experiences, and volunteer opportunities.
