Now celebrating 41 seasons of theatrical excellence, the award-winning Jubilee Theatre will host its annual golf on Monday, June 20, 2022, at The Golf Club Fossil Creek b in Fort Worth, Texas.  Registration will be at 8 a.m. with a shotgun tee will be at 9:00 a.m.

Under the leadership of board members, LaWonda Peoples and BIll Hart, this fundraising initiative will tap into a market of patrons and cultural arts donors who enjoy a game of golf while supporting a worthy cause. “Golf tournaments are no brainers in the world of fundraising. Jubilee is continuously looking for alternative avenues to engage our community supporters. It is our hope that our patrons embrace this new initiative and join us for a great day of competitive play,” states Peoples.

Serving as the Honorary Chair for the event will be PGA Golfer, Maulana Dotch. Maulana Dotch, PGA was named General Manager at Hermann Park Golf Course in Houston, becoming the first African-American woman PGA Member to serve as a General Manager of a golf facility. A native of Irving, Texas, Dotch, 40, earned her PGA Membership in 2010. At the time, she was the second-ever African-American woman to become a PGA Member, following in the footsteps of her inspiration, golf trailblazer and PGA Hall of Fame Member Renee Powell. Dotch spent the past 12 years at Cedar Crest Golf Course in Dallas and served as PGA Head Professional since 2014. In 2018, Dotch was selected for PGA LEAD, the Association’s leadership development program created to identify, mentor and progress PGA Members from diverse backgrounds into volunteer leadership positions in the Association.

Registrants will enjoy complimentary breakfast and closing ceremony luncheon. Participate in hole challenges like the longest drive, closest to the hole, etc. Please note, ladies’ contests and tees will be available. There is also a mini clinic/wine tasting planned for the non/novice golfer.
