About this event

Welcome Cousins!

This event is a reunion for all descendants of Joseph Knight Sr. (1772-1847) and his first wife Polly Peck (1774-1831) and second wife Phoebe Crosby (1800-1849). The reunion has been held every two years since 1988, and is organized and put on by a group of volunteers who always welcome new reunion committee members.

The reunion is two days of classes, speakers, activities, food and fun for anyone interested in knowing more about their ancestors, getting to know cousins, and sharing stories with others. You are invited to bring a laptop, tablet, smart phone, or other mobile device with the FamilySearch App installed.

In 2020, the reunion was online only, but this year is a hybrid of in-person and zoom classes and speakers. Everyone needs to be registered to participate, online or in person, but registration is free for all.

Eventbrite

Click on Details to go to Registration and Purchases.

We use the platform of Eventbrite to register and collect money for donations, meal and tee shirt purchases. There will be some items for sale at the reunion that you may purchase with cash or check. We have no credit card capability. We encourage participants to donate $5 per person to help cover the incidental costs of maintaining the website, and reunion related incidental costs.

On Eventbrite, tax exempt donations are also accepted and much appreciated to cover historic renovation and operational expenses for the Joseph Knight Sr. Farmhouse in Nineveh N.Y. (Colesville). Keeping it open for visitors and the various volunteer docents who live there during the late spring, summer, and early fall. Information regarding the Non-Profit / Tax Exempt status of the Knight family Organization will be made available at the reunion.

Registration to purchase tee shirts or meals needs to close by May 31st so we can have the right number of shirts printed and meals purchased. If it is June 1st or later, and you decide to come to the Knight Reunion, we would still really like to know you are coming, and we will do our best to make sure you get the zoom links in time, but we can’t promise you there will be meals or shirts available
