About this event

ISAC is hosting it's 4th annual Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) Symposium in partnership with College of DuPage on Wednesday, September 28th, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Thank you for your interest in the 2022 FAFSA Symposium. Registration for the symposium has reached maximum capacity. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee availability of space and walk-in registrations will not be available. If you have already registered and are no longer able to attend, contact the Professional Development team as soon as possible at isac.outreachtraining@illinois.gov.

The FAFSA Symposium provides an opportunity for partners to share best practices for supporting students in completing the FAFSA and the Alternative Application for Illinois Financial Aid. This event will provide professionals with the opportunity to strengthen student support around financial aid application completion and highlight financial aid completion efforts across the state.

Check-in will begin at 8:00 a.m. at the College of DuPage’s Student Resource Center (SRC) at 425 Fawell Blvd, Glen Ellyn, IL 60137. Breakfast and lunch will be provided, including vegetarian options.

Share this information with your colleagues, high school and community-based organization partners, and anyone providing direct support to students during the financial aid process. COVID-19 Protocols

Please note that per College of DuPage’s COVID-19 protocols, face masks are encouraged but not required. Attendees will be given the option to select their social distancing comfort level using color coded bracelets.

Attendees may park in Fawell Lots B, C, and D and enter the SRC near Lot C

Professional Development (PD) Hours & Continuing Education (CE) Credits

PD hours and CE credits will be offered to attendees at the rate of one unit per contact hour.
