About this event

The primary objective of the 2022/2023 State 4-H/FFA Horse Judging School is to assist in the preparation of judging teams for the State Contests. Anyone interested in horse shows and horse judging should benefit from this opportunity and is encouraged to attend.

The school will be on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at the University of Florida Horse Teaching Unit in Gainesville. The school will begin promptly at 1:00 p.m. and last until after 5:00 p.m. Registration/check-in will begin at 12:00 noon.

There is a $5.00 per person charge (youth and adults) to attend the horse judging school. Individuals or groups may register here on Eventbrite to pay with a credit card, but an additional $1.94 per person will be charged. To preregister with out additional fees, you may pay with check by returning the registration form with your check made out to "Florida 4-H Foundation". Preregistration using either method is not required, but is strongly encouraged as it will expedite the check-in of your members that morning. If you are unable to have the form and payment in our office (or online payment submitted) by December 5, hold both and sign up on site. Please plan to arrive with enough time to get checked-in (allowing for long lines) and be seated by 1:00 p.m.

Depending on availability, a coaches guide may be purchased for $11.00, a member’s manual for $4.00, and additional printed materials will be available at no charge.
