About this event
New to our festival this year is Dark Candles from Bay City, MI who will be teaching the process to pour a 4-ounce customized candle into a glass vessel.
To participate in this workshop, you will receive nearly two hours of guided instruction by an experienced chandler. There will be a discussion on various wax and wicks, as well as how and when to add the fragrance of your choice for optimal end-product results. You will learn the optimal temperature at which to pour the wax and will learn the correct ambient room temperature for candle-making. Your personalized candle will be ready for you to take with you once the class concludes. All you need to bring with you is enthusiasm.
This class is open to students 18 years or older.
