The 2022 Far Western's Recruiting Combine will be held on April 28th, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the Reno Sparks Convention Center and is open to any current 8th grade or high school age player (FEMALE ONLY), regardless if they are participating in the Far Westerns National Qualifier or not.

The 2022 Far Westerns Recruiting Combine  will have one wave available (7:00 to 8:30 p.m.) and will be promoted to every NCAA Division I team in the country.  In addition, we will promote the Combine to every NCAA Division II, Division III, NAIA and Junior College Volleyball in the West Coast and Mountain regions. 

The Player's name will be on a registered list, and at Combine check in, each player will be given a bib #, so college coaches can easily match player and contact information - Seniors will also be given a colored bib/wristband for quick identification.  Players should wear normal volleyball practice gear (no need to wear uniforms or shirts with a number on them).  

Volleyball players will be divided by position and graduation year to allow attending college coaches to efficiently evaluate them.  Multiple courts will be used at the Reno Sparks CC, with each court having a "court coach", to allow players to showcase their skills sets to the college coaches.

The court coaches will put the players through volleyball drills within their specific positions, along with combining positions to illustrate group skill sets.  

Parents are not allowed into the Combine, per the request of the college coaches - This allows the players to focus on skills and the college coaches to focus on evaluations.  

For the parents, there will be a Recruiting Education session presented by a 15 year NCAA Division I Head Coach while the players in the Combine!

COVID protocols will be sent to players/parents as needed!

***Please note - Because of the limited number of openings in the Far Westerns Recruiting Combine, cancellations will not be refunded within 48 hours of the Combine or post event.
