The 2022 Erlanger Trauma Symposium is open for registration! Erlanger Health System is committed to providing high quality continuing education for healthcare professionals who care for trauma patients from first response through rehabilitation.
This year's Keynote Speaker, Professor Shelly Timmons MD, PhD, FACS, FAANS, is Chairman of Neurological Surgery at Indiana University School of Medicine. She is a specialist in neurotrauma and neurocritical care, with a focus on traumatic brain injury. Dr. Timmons will educate on Decompressive Craniotomy for Intracranial Pressure Control after Traumatic Brain Injury.
Featured speaker, Peter Fischer MD, NR-P, MS, is the Trauma Medical Director at Elvis Presley Memorial Trauma Center, and Associate Professor of Surgery at University of Tennessee Health Science Center. Dr. Fischer will present The New 2021 Field Triage Guidelines: Who, What, and Why.
