The 2022 CUNY Virtual Hackathon is an institutional collaboration focused on blockchain technology and innovation that takes place over 72-hours in schools involved in the CUNY system. The event embraces collaborative problem solving with a goal of producing relevant open-source solutions to address institutional needs applicable to both working in the real world and life on campus... Lehman College is leading this massive collaboration along with a number of community collaborators and other organizing clubs across the CUNY system.
The free exchange of knowledge among colleagues across the university is vital to better educating the student body and expanding professional development opportunities for students, research, and teaching. The mission of the CUNY Digital Currency Initiative is to support, advocate, and advance educational awareness for blockchain and cryptocurrency, and to promote students’ professional development in the technology community of CUNY Lehman College and accompanying universities in the CUNY network.
