2021 Wisconsin Farm to Table Dinner - Roden Echo Valley
Event Information
About this event
Wisconsin Farm to Table is excited to announce the date and location of the seventh annual Farm to Table dinner and fundraiser. This year’s hosts, Roden Echo Valley, look forward to welcoming guests for the elegant outdoor dining experience, scheduled for Saturday, September 18.
Consumers and farmers come together at this event for a memorable dining experience, focused on each farm’s dedication to animal care, environmental practices, and providing safe and pure food products consumed at family dinner tables throughout the year. This is a unique opportunity to discover Wisconsin agriculture through an exceptional on-farm culinary experience. Guests may explore the taste of Wisconsin’s agricultural diversity from prestigious cheeses, meats, vegetables, and beyond.
The evening’s creations will be prepared and presented by local chef and self-proclaimed farm kid, Tyler Sailsbery. Chef Sailsbery is the head chef and owner of The Black Sheep in Whitewater, Wis., where he works with local farmers to craft unique dishes, packed with fresh ingredients and divine flavors.
Roden Echo Valley is in West Bend, Wis. where they milk 700 cows on their multigenerational dairy farm. Their passion for agriculture runs deep and inspired the family to include agritourism on the farm under the entity, Roden Barnyard Adventures. Through unique events like Farm Camp, Sundae on the Farm, and hosting events such as birthday parties, Roden Barnyard Adventures allows both children and adults to explore and discover life on the farm through a variety of fun and safe activities.
The Wisconsin Farm to Table organization is proud to bring an elegant dining experience for guests to enjoy while visiting a Wisconsin dairy farm. Proceeds from the Wisconsin Farm to Table dinner go towards a charity, and Roden Echo Valley has chosen the local Newburg fire department as their recipients.
The seventh-annual Farm to Table dinner begins at 4:30 p.m., with farm tours and a cheese reception with live music entertainment. The catered dinner begins at 6 p.m., complemented by a program featuring the local farmers who helped provide the evening’s fare.
