2021 Western Ice Association Convention Santa Barbara

We are very excited to have you join us at the 2021 Western Ice Association’s Annual Convention in beautiful Santa Barbara, CA. Our Chairman Sean Sullivan has an agenda full of informative and fun activities.

Our host hotel is the beautiful Canary Hotel. The hotel is in a really fun area, steps away from the famous State Street in downtown Santa Barbara. It is within walking distance to restaurants, bars, shops, Paseo Nuevo Mall, Stearns Wharf Pier, Funk Zone and the Beach. The hotel also has a large Rooftop Patio with a pool and 360 degree views. The W.I.A. Marshall Joy Memorial Golf Tournament will be at The Sandpiper Golf Course. The championship golf course at Sandpiper has been rated by Golf Digest in the top twenty five public golf courses in the nation. Sandpiper combines a tradition of championship golf and spectacular surroundings.

The annual Pub Crawl will be really fun. Lunch and 1st round on State St. Then we climb aboard Santa Barbara’s original amphibious tour vehicle, the LAND SHARK. Enjoy exquisite views of the Santa Barbara coastline, the American Riviera, and the Santa Ynez mountains as seen only from our boat at sea.

If Golf isn't your thing, we offer the "Taste of Santa Barbara Tour" as alternative during the same time. This culinary experience offers an intimate food walking tour of the mid-State Street area of downtown Santa Barbara and gives guests an up close and personal look into the local food scene. As we walk the streets of Santa Barbara, this food tour stops for tastings at six different shops and restaurants, where we taste and experience the best dishes and best restaurants that make Santa Barbara the great dining destination that it is

We will also have informative and entertaining Guest Speakers, as well as great Suppliers to inform and offer ways to improve your business. Plus a Round table discussion on topics and issues in the Ice Industry.
