2021 VIRTUAL ISN National Conference on Educational Innovation/WRCCS Day

As we continue to monitor the evolving and seemingly never-ending factors related to the Coronavirus, we have made the decision to hold the 2021 ISN National Conference on Educational Innovation and WRCCS School Development Day virtually. Initially scheduled for 3 days, we have decided to extend the conference for the ENTIRE WEEK of April 12-16 with the WRCCS Day still being held April 14, 2021. We selected these dates in response to the many requests from our ISN community asking that in the absence of a face to face event, we hold an online event in its place. We look forward to having you join us for this fully online event, and will be reaching out with complete details and the updated program shortly.

With this year’s theme of Equity and Engagement in Our New Educational Environment, you will have many opportunities to learn and collaborate with keynote speakers Principal El whose school and students were recently featured on Good Morning America; author, renowned speaker and survivor of the school-to-prison pipeline, Rudy Bankston; and author/superintendent Dr. Tina Owen-Moore.

As we move ISN2021 and WRCCS School Development Day completely online, we look forward to offering you the same vibrant programming, impactful networking, opportunities to reflect and connect over the emerging and salient topics in our field, and of course a lot of fun. The virtual conferences will include our regular offerings and opportunities for engagement, including sessions, workshops, keynotes, and space to connect with sponsors, exhibitors, and educators from across the globe. In addition to participating in the live event, all attendees will have access to on-demand recordings of the sessions. Moving our face-to-face conference to a fully online format presents us with the unique opportunity to spotlight the best of what the online modality affords – meaningful collaboration and the ability to reflect and connect with colleagues around the world. We hope that you will join us for this reimagined event, and celebrate our collective resilience and dedication to forging connections without boundaries.
