This event is the Kick-off for 2021 Good Earth: Vonnegut and the Environment, a year's worth of events and experiences focused on inspiring environmental care. We will be showcasing these upcoming events by holding a panel discussion with key speakers on environmental issues led by KVML Board Member Terrian Barnes. Drew will moderate a discussion with the following thoughtleaders: Sam Van Aken - Artist and Associate Professor of Sculpture at Syracuse University; Janet McCabe - Director of the Environmental Resilience Institute, Indiana University and Professor at the IU McKinney School of Law; Suzanne McConnell - Author, educator, editor and student of Kurt Vonnegut; and Jesse Kharbanda - Executive Director of the Hoosier Environmental Council.

The evening will include the unveiling of an exclusive virtual gallery of photos from the Galapagos by award-winning photographer Tui De Roy, celebrating her decades on the islands, with a video message from Tui.On the morning of the event, we will send an email that will include the Zoom link along with a reminder of the start time. For your safety and the safety of the rest of the attendees after you log into the program on Zoom, you will be placed in a waiting room until the event begins.
