About this event
Opening the Summer Series on Thursday Evening at 6PM - Nobel Laureate and psychologist Daniel Kahneman in discussion with bestselling author and historian Walter Isaacson. Kahneman is known for his work on the psychology of judgment and decision-making. He is the author of the mega-bestseller, Thinking, Fast and Slow, and Noise: A Flaw in Human Judgment.
Opening night reception with the authors to follow.
Ticket includes signed copy of Kahneman's book Noise, and the wine and cheese reception. Open seating.
You must be fully vaccinated to attend. If you are unvaccinated, please watch the event virtually through our website. Seating is outdoors in a tent on the Museum grounds.
No onsite parking will be available. Parking for the Museum will be at Martha's Vineyard Regional High School, 100 Edgartown Vineyard Haven Rd. Shuttle ride is 7 minutes in a comfortable high-top 14 passenger coach. Plan to arrive early to park offsite. Bring a mask to wear on the coach.
