About this event

Exciting news for the 7th year of the Social Workers Confronting Racial Injustice Conference hosted by the UW-Madison Sandra Rosenbaum School of Social Work!! We continue our focus on racial injustice and our role as social workers from our past conferences with this year's format: ONLINE and FREE.

This year, we are co-hosting the national Social Work, White Supremacy and Racial Justice Symposium in partnership with the University of Houston; UCLA-Luskin Social Welfare; Howard University and Arizona State which will take place on January 28-29 (register separately).

The 2021 Social Workers Confronting Racial Injustice Conference will take place over two days: February 5 (11:45 AM - 3:15 PM) and February 12 (11:45 AM - 3:15 PM).

You are welcome to attend some or all parts of the conference. If you would like to attend both parts of the Social Workers Confronting Racial Injustice Conference, be sure to sign up for both days using this form (click "Select a Date" above right).

The theme for this year's conference is: Moving Into Action With Anti-Racist and Abolitionist Ideas.

For more information, contact Jenny Braunginn (jrbraung@wisc.edu) or Laura Dresser (ldresser@cows.org) on behalf of the conference planning committee.
