Event description
Mermaid Tales 2021 continues with the NBN Conference, "Tell a New Story"-- three days and three ways to promote and grow your neighborhood.

About this event

This year's conference consists of three activities: an in-person mixer and two virtual sessions. You can register for one, two or all three activities.

Sunday's Conference Mixer (7/25/21 - 4-7pm): Neighborhood Services is re-launching in-person events with a bang! Enjoy exclusive access at the Pagoda (265 W. Tazewell St.) for an evening of networking, music, food, and a conference kick-off from keynote speaker, Marla Newman, Director of Community Development in Winston-Salem. Cost is $10 per person. Registration for the mixer is limited and closes at noon on July 23rd (extended from previous deadline of July 21st). If cancellation is necessary, refunds can only be issued 7 days before the event, and Eventbrite's service fees are not refunded.

Monday's Session (7/26/21 - 6-7:30pm): Build the Block Beyond Your Boundaries. Get tips on how Norfolk residents are partnering with local businesses to shape their neighborhood story.

Tuesday's Session (7/27/21 -6-7:30pm): The @ Game. Learn how to effectively tell your neighborhood story on social media and beyond from the experts.
