Expanding Athletic Training Range—Learning from Challenges of 2020

Thursday, April 8th - Saturday, April 10th, 2021

Course learning objectives:

1. Discuss current concepts in the care of patients for musculoskeletal conditions, orthopedic conditions, and other medical conditions across the lifespan.
2. Summarize the role of athletic trainers in patient health promotion & wellness, including appropriate information for patient education.
3. Recognize current challenges and best practice solutions in an athletic patient population including health care administration, rehabilitation, pharmacologic, and surgical interventions.

Target Audience

This conference is designed to provide essential and advanced knowledge to Certified Athletic Trainers.

CEU's: (PENDING) up to 8.75 Category A CEUs available

 Minnesota Athletic Trainers' Association is recognized by the Board of Certification, Inc. to offer continuing education for Certified Athletic Trainers. Certified Athletic Trainers are responsible for claiming only those hours actually spent participating in the continuing education activity.

Cancellation Policy

In the event a CE event is cancelled, tuition will be refunded.  A participant who has registered for a CE activity, but cancels their attendance up to 24 hours prior to the start of the CE activity will be given a full tuition refund excluding a $10 administrative fee. Any participant who has registered for a CE activity, but fails to cancel their attendance prior to the 24-hour deadline will not be provided a refund. A participant may cancel their registration and request a refund by using the Eventbrite cancellation option or by contacting the MATA VP at vicepresident@mnata.com
