About this event

We believe in partying with a purpose, and are excited to bring back our signature Sober Socials for the Indianapolis community. In support of National Mental Health Awareness Month, the 2021 Inaugural Celebration of Life Weekend will kick off MRCI’s Capital Campaign: The SEED Project.

With a goal of raising $2 Million by year’s end, funds raised will enable MRCI to build a (physical) recovery community + safe space for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) through the Crisis Response & Recovery Center. Through this initiative, MRCI will offer:

  • Free culturally curated training
  • Affordable housing + housing assistance
  • Jobs with livable wages
  • Complimentary culturally curated mental health programs/services
  • Wholistic wrap-around support services

As a 501c3 nonprofit, MRCI will use proceeds from tickets sales to continue to provide free Peer Support and Mental Health programs/services for BIPOC throughout the state of Indiana.
