Held each year, our Annual Meeting program comprises the PeRCy Awards, an NJHA legislative update, the announcement and speech from our Special Achievement Award winner, DeAnna Minus-Vincent, MPA, the Presidential year in review, Treasurer's report, sponsorship recognition, announcement of the Society Recognition Award, HPMSNJ/Seton-Hall Case Challenge Awards, Mentorship Program update and the installation of the 2022 Officers.

2021 Special Achievement Award Winner - DeAnna Minus-Vincent, MPA

DeAnna Minus‐Vincent, MPA, currently serves as the Executive Vice President, Chief Social Justice and Accountability Officer for RWJBarnabas Health. In this role, DeAnna works across the system, with internal and external stakeholders to co‐design strategies that improve health outcomes, promote health equity and eliminate health disparities. Specifically, her portfolio includes leading the system’s anti‐racism efforts which seek to develop a strategy to ensure that patients, employees, and communities in which RWJBH serves are equitable, anti‐racist, and free from discriminatory practices that promote poor health, social, and economic outcomes. Additionally, DeAnna designed and leads, Health Beyond the Hospital, integrates social factors into the clinical setting by overcoming barriers for both providers and patients. Funded by the Walmart and Robert Wood Johnson Foundations, this effort offers culturally and linguistically appropriate social determinant of health screening and connection to services for patients.

PeRCy Awards

The PeRCy Awards will be presented by HPMSNJ on December 3, 2021, during the Annual Meeting. The PeRCy Awards recognize the best in New Jersey healthcare planning, and marketing and public relations programs, and best hospital campaign outside of New Jersey.
