About this event

Olympia 101 is the Family Policy Institute of Washington (FPIW) signature citizen orientation training to inform, equip and mobilize ordinary citizens for purposeful, authentic, and effective action in support of good public policy in Washington State. The training accomplishes this by offering citizens the opportunity to learn about their state government through a unique, step-by-step, dynamic experience that uses the Capitol Campus as its “classroom.”

Unfortunately, FPIW will not be able to offer Olympia 101 trainings at the Captiol.

This year, the 2021 Legislative Session will be 100% virtual. Therefore, Olympia 101 will also be offered virtually, via Zoom. While not as engaging as navigating among the sights and sounds of our State Capitol, I'm confident our time together will be meaningful and fun!

Please email grassroots@fpiw.org if you have any questions. Specially scheduled Olympia 101 virtual sessions are available upon request.
