2021 Fife and Drum Workshop Presented by The Washington Tattoo, held on May 15th at the Alewerks Brewery, Williamsburg VA.

Please join us for the 2021 Fife and Drum Workshop presented by The Washington Tattoo to be held at the Alewerks Brewery in Williamsburg VA on May 15th from 11am-1pm.

Alewerks Brewing Company is located at 189B Ewell Rd, Williamsburg, VA 23188

The Washington Tattoo Fife and Drum workshop will include a one-hour segment of Fife and Drum instruction led by Washington Tattoo Staff members Mark Reilly, Billy White and Brian Pentony with additional instruction from members of the Old Guard Fife and Drum Corps including fife instruction from Emily Barone and drum instruction from Jeremy Marks and Mike Sera.

The Clinic will be followed by a social and performances from clinic participants and instructors.

Date: May 15, 2021

Time: 11am-1pm

Registration: $25 in person (includes hard-copy Music Workbook, food and drink voucher); $10 virtual option (includes live-stream of on-site instruction and PDF of Music Workbook) .

Note: Minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Due to current COVID guidelines, we can only allow one Parent/Legal Guardian per registered participant. A free Parent/Guardian Non-Participant ticket is available and required for admission. No food voucher is provided with the free ticket.

Participants are required to furnish their own instruments to include fifes, drums, drum sling, drum sticks, and/or drum pads.

If you do not have a drum and wish to use one for the workshop, please contact Brian_Pentony@thewashingtontattoo.com and we will try to make a drum available to you.

Please be sure to read the following Washington Tattoo Fife and Drum Workshop Terms and Conditions and acknowledge the same during the ticket purchase step.

1. By registering for and attending the Workshop (as defined below), participants and guests are bound by, and shall comply with, these Terms and Conditions. It is the individual’s responsibility to read and understand these Terms and Conditions.

2. For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions the “Workshop” means the fife and drum instructional workshop hosted by The Washington Tattoo, to be held on May 15, 2021, at Alewerks Brewing Company, 189B Ewell Road, Williamsburg, Virginia.

3. Only one registration per person is allowed.

4. In order to attend the Workshop, participants must pay in full the relevant Registration Fee immediately on booking. Non-participating guests also must register.

5. Each participant or guest will be issued a badge that they must wear at all times during the Workshop.

6. The Registration Fee does not include any travel costs or any costs of accommodation. The Registration Fee relates solely to attendance at the Workshop.

7. Payments for the Workshop are non-refundable unless the Workshop is cancelled in which case a refund will be made available by The Washington Tattoo.

8. All sales are final. No refunds or credits shall be issued for “no shows”.

9. By submitting registration details, you agree to allow us to contact you as required for the organization and administration of the Workshop.

10. By registering for the Workshop, you are agreeing to these terms, which form a legal contract between The Washington Tattoo, and the registered participant or guest. If you are registering on behalf of another, it is your responsibility to ensure that the person attending is aware of these terms and accepts them, and by completing the registration you are warranting that you have made the attendee aware of these terms and that they have accepted these terms.

11. In case of inclement weather or other causes out of the control of The Washington Tattoo, The Washington Tattoo reserves the right to cancel the workshop and refund registration fees.

12. Minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

13. Participants must supply their own instruments. (See note in description regarding drums)

14. All participants and guests must wear protective face masks and observe social distancing. Fifers may remove masks during the Workshop only when instructed by the Workshop instructors and when properly distanced from others.

15. By attending the Workshop you acknowledge and agree to grant The Washington Tattoo the right to record, film, photograph or capture your likeness in any media now available and to distribute, broadcast, use or otherwise to disseminate, in perpetuity, such media without any further approval from you or any payment to you. This grant to The Washington Tattoo includes, but is not limited to, the right to edit such media, the right to use the media alone or together with other information, and the right to allow others to use and/or disseminate the media. Participants and guests agree to waive all rights, claims and causes of action arising from photos, newspaper accounts, audio and video recordings and other reproductions that The Washington Tattoo may make of their participation in the Workshop for future marketing.
