Annually, the Prince George’s County Planning Department organizes a riveting cultural celebration of Black History Month, featuring a musical/cultural performance and lecture from an expert on the ASALAH theme. This year, the celebration will feature Lawana Holland-Moore Associate Program Officer of the African American Cultural Heritage Action Fund for the National Trust of Historic Preservation and Nala Washington, Prince George’s County Youth Poet Ambassador.
